From the most strategic project through to the routine work, we deliver with the benefit of planning, tax, construction and environmental support that's available when required. Key responsibilities: To provide high level secretarial assistance and administrative support to a team of legal advisers/partners or key clients; using strong organisational skills to ensure that the legal advisors have the information they require • Highly proactive and responsive diary management • Organising extensive travel, business trips, itineraries and events • Financial Administration - providing a comprehensive financial administration service to support legal advisers. Ensuring Dormant Balances are kept to a minimum and good financial house keeping is maintained. • Management of emails/correspondence • Documents and correspondence - producing high quality documents using the appropriate resources and ensuring files are maintained. • Utilise our available resources to help you work effectively i.e use our centralised admin support to open and close files and our DP team to amend large documents and our print room to print/copy/scan large documents. • Organising internal and external meetings • Preparation of presentations • Acting as liaison point for clients and colleagues • Dealing and screening calls, delivering a positive client experience • File opening/closing • Paper and electronic filing • Digital dictation • Support of colleagues - working with others as part of a team Skills and experience: We'd particularly love to hear from you if you have already worked as a legal secretary. Ideally you will have a minimum of 50 wpm typing and as we use technology for maximum benefit you will need to have excellent MS office skills. It is expected that, with limited supervision, you will be able to proactively support a team of legal advisers/partners/key clients and produce high quality documents, manage extremely busy diaries, arrange complex travel itineraries and have an enthusiastic approach to dealing with day to day tasks and longer term initiatives/projects. The ideal candidate will therefore have: • Experience in Real Estate is desirable • Experience of providing secretarial/PA support to legal advisers at all levels. • Demonstrates a wide range of skills, including excellent interpersonal and organisation skills • Demonstrates confidence in own ability, and anticipates what is needed • Demonstrates flexibility and ability to use own initiative • Takes account of others' workloads when working together, and offers help • Develops good working relationships within the team Key competencies: Supports and champions all firmwide initiatives • Seeks to provide outstanding levels of client service at all times.
