Sourcing Administrator. Nottingham, UK
About the Job
Do you want to join our sourcing team, helping to improve the cost of goods for all bought in products and materials that are used in making the best fantasy miniatures in the world?
Are you excited by efficiently collating, organising and maintaining our product information and then communicating the right information, at the right time to the right people?
You will be working in our sourcing team alongside 6 other people, gathering all of the information necessary to complete projects, and then filing and updating it in a way that means it is always accurate and up to date. There are some established methods for doing this but we want you to make suggestions and improvements whenever you think something could be done more effectively. All of this information also needs to be stored in a way that others find it accessible, both because it’s in the right place but also because it is captured in a way that it is easy to understand.
You will also make sure the relevant information is always shared appropriately with key stakeholders so that nothing comes as a surprise and we are able to deal with risks long before they become problems. Again, if you see ways we can improve the flow of communication then we want you to speak up and let all involved know.
Finally, you will be gathering key performance information and running reports for the sourcing team so that we can see if we are on track to deliver what the business needs from us.
We know what makes this job hard is constantly maintaining accurate information, to tight deadlines in a fast paced, adaptable department and business.
