Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a specialist not for profit organisation who are opening a new Sheffield office.

As Case Worker, you will be responsible for making arrangements of all logistics for a Returnee from Europe to their Home Country. The post holder will be the initial contact point for European Partner Institutions (National Governments) who are returning migrants to their home nations, ensuring all arrangements are in place with the appropriate overseas Local Operations Centre in the country of return for safe reception of the returnee.
The post holder will be the initial escalation point for resolution of any issues or concerns raised in relation to migrant return.
The post holder will assist in the creation of a Reintegration plan for the returnee that is within the budget and of the most benefit to the individual
You will create, maintain and deploy the customer relationship strategy; ensuring all records are accurately updated, maintaining quality, performance and improvement including Learning & Development and Safety and Environment responsibilities.

This is a critical role for the refugee returns contract and provides the first point of contact.

Applicants must have:

- Knowledge
- Evidence of undertaking similar role
- Be fluent in a European language (French, German and Dutch particularly beneficial)
- Immigration knowledge and understanding of the environment and challenges
- Empathic approach to displaced personsexperiences
- Experience of working in a similar environment where complex customer enquiries are handled by phone and email
- IT literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Knowledge of the wider Immigration Sector
- An acknowledgement of different cultures and religions
- A passion for helping vulnerable people
- Excellent interpersonal skills and Emotional Intelligence (essential)
