Link Worker for Older Offenders x2 35 hours per week GBP18,380 per annum, pro rata for duration of post, NJC points 20-23 HMP Whatton Fixed term until March 2018 In this role, you will support HMP Whatton to resettle older prisoners on their release back in to the community. This will include supporting prisoners to re-establish links with their family and friends. As such the link worker will act as the link between prisoners, the prison, the community (or prison transfer) and prisoner friends and family. Candidates should have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and should have the ability to empathise and support the older prisoner population.
