Who are we.

Working with our commercial teams in Rome and Munich, we're taking our brilliant online betting and gaming experiences to Italy, Germany and beyond by constantly reviewing our customer feedback, making product improvements and executing targeted marketing campaigns.

What you will do.

As an Agile Delivery Lead in International at Sky Betting and Gaming you will be focused on the successful delivery of quality products using the most effective Agile and Lean techniques. You will foster a continuous improvement culture and, through the use of data and being "in the work", the ability to "fail fast and cheaply" and learn from the experience.

You will also be responsible for empowering multiple squads and facilitating the delivery of high-quality products regularly, repeatedly and predictably through a focus on risk management, technical excellence, business value and the needs of the customer.

The Challenges

Lead on the delivery of shippable increments in an online commercial environment.

Take a data driven and experimental approach to solving problems and investigating opportunities.

Use the tools and data available to you to drive delivery, improve efficiency, understand and size initiatives and then track them via burnups charts, throughput and cycle times.

Help build reporting and analysis metrics and insight.

Work with and manage multiple 3rd parties to ensure coordination and delivery.

From time to time, you will be expected to own and deliver other activities that are ongoing within the tribe.

How you will do it???

  • Take responsibility for end to end delivery of initiatives, managing external dependencies, day to day management of 3rd parties, issues and risks.
  • Manage cross-team communication and coordination to ensure that dependencies are understood and well managed in order to deliver the end product successfully.
  • Prevent, identify and proactively removing blockers to enable progress of the development team.
  • Support planning delivery timelines with the delivery manager based on feedback and estimation from development teams and identifying any potential disruptions before they become a problem.
  • Run the delivery process within the squads and ensure the right squad ceremonies are in place. (delivery planning, backlog refinement, standups, playback, reviews).
  • Evolve agile and lean techniques - developing the squad's Kanban, and lean ways of working to optimise delivery.
  • Facilitate the inception and delivery of new initiatives outside of your usual team domain.
  • Report to multiple stakeholders. It's important to ensure they are all aligned and expectations are well managed.
  • Have lean process awareness and a continuous improvement mentality.
