To help us better service our customer base, we are now seeking a Customer Support Assistant to join our team in Sheffield.

As a Customer Support Assistant, you will be tasked with providing outstanding customer experiences from the moment their order is processed to the time of its completion.
Once your in-depth induction is complete, you will be provided with a long term personal development plan and will commence a three-month probationary period.
Your aim will be to support customers, manage their journeys, ensure they are looked after throughout the delivery process and have a great aftercare experience. You will utilise both telephony and email channels to communicate with customers as there is no face-to-face aspect to this role.
Joining the Operations Team which has its own office on the shop floor, you will be part of a team of five and will:
- Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure they remain updated with order progress
- Identify any potential delays and working with internal teams to resolve these
- Manage customer complaints and implement resolutions to improve customers' satisfaction
To be considered as a Customer Support Assistant, you will need:
- Customer service experience gained within an office or call-centre environment
- Experience gained within a manufacturing environment
- At least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade A*-C, including Maths and English
- A positive attitude with a ‘can-do' mentality and a results-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust through honesty
Ideal Customer Support Assistants will have good knowledge of manufacturing and production procedures. An NVQ in customer service would also be beneficial to your application.
