JOB TITLE: Plant Hire Manager
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive dependent on skills and experience plus pension contribution
WORKING HOURS: Full Time (40 hours per week Monday to Friday)

THE COMPANY: Our client are an expert civil engineering and groundwork company working on projects in and around Midlands within the housing and industrial sectors. With an operated fleet of over 150 pieces of construction plant equipment and over 100+ vehicles our clients have a great professional reputation within the industry and have been successfully growing since starting.

There is now a new fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual with experience in the construction or plant hire industry to join their existing team as a Plant Hire Manager where you will be based in our clients Plant Department located in Rainworth (Mansfield), Nottinghamshire.

THE ROLE: This is a wide and varied role where no day can be the same. As a Plant Hire Manager you will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Plant Department and Plant Equipment being hired out.

Key Responsibilities:

- Agree rates with suppliers
- Purchasing of small plant, hand tools & consumables
- Approve invoices for payment
- Site set up/Welfare facilities
- Requesting quotes & raising purchase orders for
- Traffic Management
- Action requests from Health & Safety Audits

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Plant Hire Managers role must have experience in a Construction, Pant Hire or other related industry and must be someone who is organised and can work well in a reactive busy environment. You should be a highly motivated person who has strong spoken and written communication skills, and able to covey clear information to suppliers as well as drivers and operators on site. You must be IT literate and have experience using Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.

Key experience essential for the Plant Hire Managers role in Rainworth (Mansfield), Nottinghamshire:

• Previous experience in the Construction or Plant Hire industry essential
• Must have good IT skills and experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
• Good communicator both verbal and written
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
• Must be a highly motivated and confident person
