IT SERVICE MANAGER An exciting and brand new opportunity exists for an IT Service Manager within a growing IT Solutions company based in Nottingham. Bank holidays Genuine opportunities for career progression The main purpose of the role will be to lead one large (or several small) Service relationships, ensuring commercial targets are met or exceeded, contract and commercial change is robustly controlled, contracted Service obligations are met and service excellence & innovation are delivered. The ultimate measures of success are extension of the scope of service, increased contribution and contract renewal. DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY: Build strong productive working relationships with mapped customers and their management teams (evidenced by regular meetings with key customer management) Ensure Service obligations are met. (Evidenced by hitting SLA targets and good customer feedback scores) Regular service reviews are held with customers and attend appropriate meetings Performance statistics and reporting is provided to the customer. Create an agreed escalation process for service issues, playing the appropriate role in that escalation process. Advising Senior Management of major service issues (to avoid surprise) Efficiency and Productivity targets are met Service Quality measurements are in place and a "service excellence" ethos is promoted Continual Improvement process is in operation Responsible for P&L Management (Revenue, profit, cost, Aged Debt/control). Evidenced by achievement or exceeding the Enterprise plan and accurate forecasting. Identify and maximise opportunities for growth in all areas of business Creation of T&M forecast and delivery of T&M Rev to plan. Responsible for running detailed day-to-day contract mechanics, management of change - variations to contract, indexation etc, supporting the Service Director as appropriate in overall contract management. Performance Management of all direct reports and providing feedback for Performance Management of virtual team members THE CANDIDATE: Demonstrable experience as a Manager of an IT Service Delivery team Evidence of Budget/P&L Management capability (£1m-£5m budgets) Evidence of ability to build relationships up to Head of Function, IT Director level Experience in delivering change (process or technology or culture) Evidence of adaptability/flexible to changing demands Evidence of ability to work under pressure Evidence of ability to influence Evidence of experience in commercial negotiations Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL Excellent communication/presentation skills at all levels Excellent decision making/problem solving skills Strong leadership skills Strong planning and organisation skills The first stage of the application process is to apply online.
