This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationwide brand - we are looking for an experienced Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to join our site management team and project teams to provide structured improvements within a multi functional manufacturing business. The successful candidate will use their skills, knowledge and experience to implement LEAN and 5's methodologies across a nationwide depot network to ensure it's targets are achieved. A 'hands on' role in supporting the project teams to implementing a culture that delivers continuous improvements. The role will include: Supporting the multi - functional sites teams in developing plans for performance improvement strategies Develop clear strategies for process improvements in alignment to bombardier operating systems Identify, agree and execute improvement strategies across safety, quality, delivery and cost Measure and analyse performance data across the sites identifying initiatives that delivery improvements With a team approach facilitate root cause analysis for non-conforming costs and provide robust corrective actions Support new business opportunities in the development of value stream mapping, manufacturing build process and risk assessments Candidate profile: Demonstrate a strong background in operations, supply chain with a strong manufacturing understanding and delivery of lean applications Proven track record in leading, implementing and delivery of continuous improvements within large manufacturing organisations Ability to implement projects that have delivered benefits on cost, delivery, safety and quality Excellent knowledge of LEAN manufacturing including Value Streaming, mapping, Problem Solving Techniques, Quality control systems, 5's, Waste Elimination, Change Management, DMAIC, OEE, Best Practice, Kaizen, PDCA and Visualisation Qualifications: Lean manufacturing practitioner Ideally Black or green belt - 6 Sigma Minimum HND/HND in Engineering Excel advanced - Visio - Project - Powerpoint Strong interpersonal skills The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver within a challenging and fast moving environment.
