PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: This role is responsible for driving excellent service and maximum productivity within Meter Operations for the Domestic, Commercial and Industrial segments by working together with both internal and external stakeholders to create / update plans and monitor performance vs. plans. To create and maintain a suite of monitoring reports and procedures to continuously challenge and drive efficiency within the delivery teams. To analyse and interpret data to enable internal and external stakeholders, understand variations to delivery and to produce and implement improvements. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY / TASKS - Responsible for in-depth data analysis, regular reporting and management information reporting for to both internal and external stakeholders. Including: - Performance vs. Plan - Performance vs. KPI's - Forecasting and Scenario Planning - Contacts, Conversions, Completions - Resources - (support) Materials Requirements - Work individually and cross functionally to identify gaps in performance vs. plan and vs. KPI's, root cause and prioritise improvements - Provide input into business planning and the budgeting process to include the allocation of resources to maintain business service levels while minimizing operating costs. - Utilise workforce management software and other models to accurately forecast for both short and long-term to determine staffing requirements for field staff and back office environments - Ensure that existing process are mapped and documented as standard work and are used as a baseline for future improvements - Review existing processes and apply continuous improvement methodology, including streamlining reports and removing non-value adding elements SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES - Excellent data management skills: analysis, interpretation, master data - Communication Skills: strong verbal, written and presentation skills - Organisational Agility: must be capable of engaging effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders, both internal and external to the company - Business Acumen: strong awareness required - Supply Chain experience (desirable): S&OP, ERP, MRP, CRP, etc. - Process Improvement: mapping current state processes, developing standard work and driving process improvements - Understanding of the following applications, C&Q, M98, SABRE Electricity, MRS, CASS, MATRIX & other MO, DC & water call centre systems and databases - Must be competent in using standard desktop applications to create reports and appropriate training documentation (Word, Excel, Access and Visio). EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Degree level - 5 years' experience in a similar - Strong numeracy skills - English speaking
