The Role In A Nutshell As a Localisation Coordinator, you will work as part of the new Localisation team, responsible for ensuring our business translation/trans-creation requirements are delivered on a day to day basis. Receiving business requests then actioning within our agreed SLA’s, you will be ensuring all relevant information is present in order to minimise errors and delivery failures. Excellent attention to detail as well as being extremely self-motivated you will have a results-driven and proactive attitude, as well as an organised outlook with the ability to understand the wider-context of a heavy workload and can prioritise with ease. Day To Day Responsibilities Collecting BAU business requirements organising and delivering to our translation agency. Receiving back from translation and redistributing to the correct business areas. Ensuring quality of data. Support regionalisation team member and technical team in maintain business standards. Maintain quality of product translation. Work in conjunction with our external translation agency. Conduct data reviews for inconsistencies and localisation issues. Compiling information, such as technical terms used in legal settings, into glossaries and terminology databases to be used in translations. Coordinates the content localisation workflows, liaises with localisation and other business areas. Writing, editing and proofreading site content. What We Need From You Confident in working with technology, digital platforms and data. Basic understanding translation/trans-creation. You will have an interest for different languages and cultures from around the world (German is a very desirable). You will have a great eye for detail and tie up any loose ends. Show problem solving skills and have the ability to communicate clearly, as well as striving to achieve deadlines. Self-disciplined, motivated and committed. You will also have a interest in analytics and being able to spot any discrepancies in data sheets. Awareness of digital content and confident in working with technology, digital platforms and data.
