Residential Support Worker

Our sites are located within the Derbyshire and Staffordshire area's supporting young people with Special Educational and Support Needs. We take a pro-active and innovative approach to supporting young people, maximising their potential by supporting and developing them to engage in a wide range meaningful activities, opportunities and educational support. . Working within the residential setting, you will assist with a range of care; this will include personal care with young people who can display very challenging behaviour. You will be required to be flexible Monday - Sunday with a variety of shift patterns . We can offer Permanent or Casual contracts to successful applicants. The competitive salary starts from £7.50 per hour Mileage is paid at 25p per mile, and an increased rate if you are transporting a service user which is paid twice monthly. -You will need to hold a full driving licence for this position, and will require business insurance. - Our support rotas are completed a month in advance so you have plenty of time to plan around family life. SENAD offer an extensive fully paid training programme to get you started, so although experience is preferred it is not essential - what is essential, is that you value and respect those who are in our care.
