The Board wish to recruit a forward looking, commercial and values-led business leader to build upon Leek United’s strong heritage and to develop the long term strategic vision of the Society. Reporting to the Chairman and Board, the Chief Executive will provide visible and inspirational leadership ensuring the Society continues to thrive in a dynamic market for financial services with increasing competition, regulation and technological change. The Chief Executive will have a keen focus on people development and create a collegiate, engaging and stimulating working environment for colleagues. Candidates will have proven P&L and balance sheet management experience, able to demonstrate a track record of; managing growth and delivery of strong long-term financial performance, leading strategic change, creating, inspiring and developing high performing teams and strong risk management. The successful candidate must believe passionately in the values of mutuality and delivering outstanding customer experience.
