An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sous Chef to join our prestigious clients team, based on the outskirts of Belper. They are known for their excellent food and award-winning beer. What you’ll require to be considered for this role: Be an experienced Sous Chef or have strong Chef de Partie experience Food Hygiene Level 2 (level 3, desirable) Knowledge of food costings Be up to date with recent COSHH and HACCP IT literate You will be working alongside the Head Chef and Executive Chef, helping to create new and exciting menus. Also, you’ll be working with fresh and locally sourced ingredients to make delicious dishes. Within this position, you will mainly be: Working alongside the Head Chef to ensure smooth running of the kitchen Developing new menus and creating fully costed spec sheets for new dishes Taking control in the Head Chef’s absence Maintaining a 5-star hygiene rating Training and mentoring junior team members Salary & Working Hours: £16,000 - £18,000 per annum Profit Share Bonus Scheme Working hours vary and will include weekend work.
