SEN Teaching Assistant- About the Graduate

The ideal candidate for an SEN teaching assistant position must be a recent psychology graduate with a passion about supporting children with special educational needs. You must have an excellent understanding of developmental disorders specifically Autism. You must be a resilient and resourceful individual in order to find the best ways to work with disadvantaged children. The perfect candidate will have previous experience working with children, preferably children with SEN.

SEN Teaching Assistant- About the Role

In this amazing opportunity as an SEN teaching assistant you will be required to put your theoretical knowledge to use. You will play an integral part of the delivery of a specific EHCP which has been put together by the school for a specific child. You will work closely with the SENCo and other members of the inclusion team to support the pupils, academically, socially and emotionally.

We work with primary schools across the South Yorkshire areas, in Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley and your location and suitability will be taken into consideration when your application is reviewed.
