Our client is a world leader in FMCG and Food Manufacturing. Operating from a modern, world class production facility, this is a superb career opportunity to provide a safe, high quality process service within the process manufacturing facility. Due to expansion and the need to produce more of this instantly recognisable market leading product, there are immediate requirements for Lead Process Operators and Process leaders / Operators. Process Technicians are process leaders, trainers and resident experts in their designated manufacturing area. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and definition of production processes, as well as continuous improvement of the current processes at production stage. Reporting into the Production Manager, this role involves indirectly leading a small , autonomous and self-managing team, ensuring the running of a continuous process and FMCG manufacturing operation, , manufacturing high quality consumer goods. You will add knowledge to technical team, responsible for safe working practices and a continuous improvement methodology. This role requires the ability to provide technical expertise in a specific area to achieve plant and production targets - working a rotating shift pattern. Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Your Challenges Delivery against factory and quality SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) Ensure delivery of process production targets - manufacturing formula Control of Process line changeovers To deliver OEE and production targets - you will own it Problem solving and route cause analysis in batch recipe development, mixing and product formulations Performs housekeeping for packaging materials within SAP Requirements: Experience of working within a faced paced production environment - FMCG preferred or chemicals /process/ pharmaceutical industry would be ideal Self-motivation and a desire to improve your working environment Flexible and adaptable approach to work Ability to manage multiple priorities and face challenges You have a secondary education, ideally with 1-2 years of cGMP related production experience or equivalent
