Hours: Part time

Days: 21 hours, over 3 out of 7 days a week

Closing Date: Sunday 23rd July

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Shop Manager to support our Community Shop Manager in our Silverdale shop.  The Assistant Shop Manager contributes to the dynamics of the running of a shop by upholding and supporting the plans and working methods put in place by the Community Shop Manager. Day to day tasks include opening and closing the shop, organising the volunteer team, promoting gift aid, stock turnaround, responding to customer enquiries as well as ensuring excellent customer service is given on all occasions. 

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a charity shop and/or retail environment, possess excellent interpersonal/ communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team to get the job done.   Key to the role is the willingness to adopt a hands on approach, be able to be flexible to work at the times needed by the business to meet the requirements of the post and have a passion for charity retailing.
