NATIONAL JUSTICE MUSEUM
SALARY: £9 per hour
HOURS PER WEEK: 32 to 37.5 depending on the rota. Must be available evenings and weekends
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
- To manage the team of costumed interpreters at both the award winning National Justice Museum and City of Caves, ensuring all performances meet organisational standards, and are both entertaining and educational for all our visitors, groups and corporate clients for daytime and evening events.
- To be part of the team and perform in costume as an interpreter when not carrying out supervisory duties, depending on the needs of the rota. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the new National Justice Museum in Nottingham and its future development. The successful candidate must have proven acting and performing ability, being able to engage and interact with a variety of audiences, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in a customer facing environment and experience with supervisory responsibilities, including reviews and performance development, absence, days off and holidays, and training and character development.
